Training
Max has had the fortune of working with many tremendously skilled and wise teachers and mentors, including Nick Kanelis of Magnet Theater's Trike, Sharone Halevy of Prova, and award winning actor and director Michelle Robinson, President of AFTRA in Houston, Texas.
Max has trained extensively in Improvisational Comedy at UCB and Magnet Theater, in Monologue Method with The Actor's Project NYC, and in On-Screen Acting through The Actor's Bridge.
Personal Life
Born in Texas and raised in Tokyo, Max has led a life of exploration and travel.
At 14, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, gaining a set of skills in wilderness survival and leadership that have stuck with him ever since. An accomplished outdoorsman, Max has been honing his talents as a yogi for the last 6 years, his passion for martial arts for the last 12, and his penchant for marksmanship for the last 17.
Fluent in Japanese and potent with an acoustic guitar in his hands, he finds the most pleasure in performance and travel, as both allow him to do what he does best - connect with others.
Background
With an extensive history of roles in theater and film alike, Max has held leading roles in productions of Shakespeare's "The Tempest," Agatha Christie's "Murder on the Nile," and "Legally Blonde the Musical," to name a few. He has appeared multiple times on television for shows such as "Stop the Threat," on the American Trigger Sports Network, and "Odd Mom Out," on Bravo.
Max has experience as both a commercial actor and model, working with companies like "New York Sports Club," "Baeba," and more.
Currently, Max is involved in an Off-Broadway Show called "Conversations with an Average Joe," a politically savvy written and produced by the former State Senator of NM, Joe Carraro, PhD.
Recent Work
Recent projects for Max include a multitude of significant film and stage roles alike. He has played the lamentable Antigonus in "A Winter's Tale," directed by the Hudson Shakespeare Company, the wise-cracking Brains "The Jameson Job," produced by the Magnet Video Lab, the misunderstood Voldemort in "A Very Potter Musical," performed at the Maroney Theater in Arizona, and the lovelorn Detective Victor in "Follow," through the School of Visual Arts.
